SithTracy -> RE: Lightscribe versus Printable DVD-media (9/17/2006 8:09:38 AM) If you have a LightScribe drive, LightScribe media is required.  To me, the media is pricy and it takes roughly 30 minutes to burn a quality label on LS Media... My Sharpie costs about $1.47 here in the U.S. and works great for my needs. Sure the output looks great on the disc from a LS drive, but it's not worth the time or extra money for that matter.
