rblake -> MPEG to DVD Freeware (7/8/2006 12:51:26 PM)

Why is this so hard to find!?

I've download at leat 30 million applications hoping that they would do the job and none do.

I have a DVB TV stick and was dismayed to find that, even though it records, the package did not include software to put the file onto a DVD.

First you have to run the mpeg file through software to clean it and get a usable mpeg. Now, I need to get it to a DVD to watch on the main player.

Thing is, I just can't find freeware to do this. There is loads of great freeware to do just about everyhting else!

Am I missing something or am I just, plain, thick? Cheers.

Mpeg to DVD is not a hard work.So many software can to that. But i don't think free can give you perfectly quality. If you only want freeware, then i can't help you but do google search. And i use winavi, not free, but good.

Thanks both.
Thing is I only do it very infrequently so it's not worth buying anything.

yeah, rblake.  sometimes we only need 1 software to work infrequently.   its sink money to buy 1.
maybe its reasonable to pay for it when i use it.  eg. if a software 30$.   i just want to use it several times, or several days, i can pay (....5$....or less....or more ) to do it.

Yeah. I haven't used anything like it for months now so even a few quid would be wasted.
Guess I'll have to muddle along!
