Greendog -> Music files cd-rw (2/18/2006 7:47:02 AM)

[:@] Hi, I've just joined the forum, so this is all new to me.
I have a problem with:  - Q. After downloading mp3 music files, I then burn them onto a cd-rw, to back up my files and to play on my home stereo and car cd player. It burns onto the disc fine, then I go to play on my stereo and it registers 'No Disc'!!!  Why??? But it plays on my P.C.... Can anybody help me with this bizarre problem, because I have ran out of ideas.... I have tried the following: 1- Widows media player.
2- Sony Sonic
3- Nero
4- and various other cd software and nothing seems to work.
I will be on-line for a while, so if anybody can help thats great......

Are you burning them in MP3 format?  Or regular audio CD format?

Also, be aware, unless you "OWN" the copyright to the songs you are downloading, what you are doing is against the law.

That is, unless the artist(s) are signed. Alot of upcoming artists use P2P clients as a way to distribute their tracks and make a name for themselves before becoming the next big thing, and encourage users to participate in file sharing.

probably the problem is with CD-RW media, try CD-R media
