TeeChauze -> Looking for EFM Capable Drive (1/2/2004 5:39:38 PM)

I've been looking at different CD Recorders. I've been told to get an "EMF Capable" recorder to read Safedisc2 protections.
I've heard about various Lite-On recorders, so I've been looking into them. Unfortunatly, I haven't seen any reference to EMF Capability.
Would it specify in the specks? Or, does Lite-On have what I'm looking for?
Any help would be appreciated.

One more thing...... What is Firmware?
Thanks.

Liteon Drives are EFM compatible. I like them. There are others that are compatible as well. If you go with a Liteon drive get one 40x or faster because they can handle the newest Safedisc protection. I have a 52x drive and it works great!
