I have been working around computer longer than many of you have been alive. The sad part is the learning is on going and the great part is the learning is on going. I’m pretty new to DVD R/W. I’m lost in the code I need, what is the best way to convert avi to DVD, the better software ECT.... I do have an older copy of DVD Xcopy and DVD rip that I just love them. You will find that mostly I’m a lurker.
I work on both PC and Mac love and hate them both. Window and Mac servers I want to learn Linux and I think I’ll be doing that soon. One of my biggest troubles with computer (PC) is that I don’t speak the language to well. This is what happens when you work alone. I do most of my learning by reading and forum like this one.
Now for the who care list I don’t fit the profile of a computer geek and have more than once blow some kid out of the water when looking for hardware. I am female and a little over 50 year old (young). A mother of 4 children ages 33, 24, 22 and 12. I told my husband that I don’t think we will ever live alone.
