Hi,
Just bought me-self a new Plextor DL burner and found this site to help me use it to it's greatest potential.  Grateful for the resource.  First question (please?)...DVD fab.. Is there a good reason to splurge for DVD FAB Platinum over Gold?  And do I need any burning software like Nero with FAB or is this software all in one?

Hi, it seems that DVD fab focuses on DVD-Video backups. For other burnings, like audio or data, it is possible you need other software. Nero is reliable.

For burnings I always use Nero, that's what I've learned so far reading this forum.[:D]
