Yeap it is...

I´ll wait for your next reviews when you test with Q4A [:)]

What drives you have in the review-queue ?

Scour1 -> RE: Waiting for reviews :) (12/16/2005 12:57:08 PM)

Plextor PX 750

Looks not good to me.

No 12x DVD-writing avaible, slow when reading, burn many 16x-media only @4x, produces coasters with MCC004, writing-quality overall not good.

I don´t think that the Benq DQ 60 performs better

There are many burners in our labs, even the 755A.[;)]

Yeah, throw the 750 away and test the 755 [:)]

AFAIK the Benq DQ 60 is waiting for a new FW, too, but Benq seems to support it not so well like the writers with Philips/Nexperia-chipsets

Reading the Sony DW-Q30A-review :)

http://cdrinfo.com/Sections/Reviews/Specific.aspx?ArticleId=15850&PageId=4

Maybe on this site some errors, in the read-tests no Sony is listed.

I just wonder about the writing-quality, 16x +R is overall bad, -R is very good, with 8x-media +R looks good and -R not good.

Yeap, I'll have to change the graphs...[:D]

As for the writing quality it is a question and that's why we always burn so many media.

Yeah, and I like it :) because writing-quality is very important for me

Fixed, thanks for the help.[;)]

No prob ;)

Read the Plextor 755-review :)

The Plextor offers nice features, again.

Looks not bad, but I´m not sure how many people buy a Plextor for this price, for the half cost you can get a LG, Benq, NEC or Pioneer.

Antonio -> RE: Waiting for reviews :) (1/7/2006 6:36:44 AM)

To be ownest those features are not something special. What's the new thing? Destroy media? Give me one and I'll show you how this should be like.[:D][:D]
Q-Check is not something new, neither Autostrategy.

And I liked a lot the riplock at 2X, perfect.[:'(]

There's no doubt that my 716SA is much better.[:)][;)]

I said not "new" features [;)]

Know some guiys that have their 3.rd or 4. 716 in one year because the drives hve no long life

Antonio -> RE: Waiting for reviews :) (1/7/2006 6:42:40 AM)

I know.[:D] But after so much time the 755 should have something more than the 716.

The life is depending on how much do you use it. I burn one disc per day maximum so I don't worry about it.[:D][:)]

Scour1 -> RE: Waiting for reviews :) (1/9/2006 8:01:49 PM)

Reading the 162L-review :)

Looks good in DVD+R, but DVD-R is awful :(
.
Just wonder why it can backup SD3.1. Looks like the Samsung have an older chipset from MTK than the Liteon 16H5S, but the Lite can´t make a working backup of SD3.1

Antonio -> RE: Waiting for reviews :) (1/10/2006 1:55:17 AM)

I am wondering if there will be drive that can backup more recent SD versions than 3.1. Do you think this is possible? Or it is just marketing reasons?
