That is what I am unsure of .  I was told to update my firmware for my burners. I have a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-108 and a OPORITE DVD RW DD0201. They are not reading some blank media.
I hope you can help me.

then you should visit the firmware section from the main page to see what is the latest firmware for your burner
