So from experience what are the best settings to *Backup* a SD2 Copy protected game using a LiteOn 24102B Drive..
Oh Yer Using CloneCD Of course...
And will it do any harm to select the
Read Sub Channel Data from Data & Audio
for all CD's?

Joel..

Hi there,
If the LiteOn has EFM ability so why not tick ON read sub channel data and audio? Why use fast error skip at all? Is it not for CDR's that CNNOT handle SD2 (like the Plex 161040A I have)...?

Please explain,
LIOR

Life is short...so play hard!!

Because SD2 is a protection based on read errors so you would want to skip them fast - hence the name 'fast error skip'. This protection is on the main channel and therefor there is no need to read any of the subs

You get what you pay for...
