Hi, I'm trying to update the firmware for my Philips CDRW804, but when I run the flash tool, the message "Please remove the disc from the selected drive" cuts me off, though there's not a disc in the drive. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try "opening" the drive tray before flashing

I suggest you try my ASPI FIX as this sometimes cures the problem you are having just go to :-
