Arranger -> How can I get my song names to come up on my CDs? (7/23/2003 11:55:20 PM)

I've noticed that some new commercial CDs show track titles in certain players and others disks just show track numbers.

I'm interested in burning my own music to a CD with the song names showing up in modern players, but I'm not having much luck getting it done. Somehow I have to rip my songs back to .wav files, rename them, and then rerecord the .cda. I'm not delighted to be sending my tunes through so many algorithmic/dithering cycles.

I write my songs in a Tascam 788 hard disc recorder and burn them in the attached Tascam SCSI burner. With this system, I can burn finalized playable audio discs or simply write .wav files to disk in order to export them to my PC. I can also take my audio discs and convert them to .wav files with CDex or Exact Audio Copy, or write an audio disc from my .wav files with Nero and my Yamaha F-1 burner.

Does anyone have a moment to help me figure out how to get my song names to come up when played? Thank you.

Yes your yamaha CRW-F1 is CD Text capable, and it also comes with Nero, which writes CD Text. Simply click NEW then audio CD... the next box that comes up will have a box just CHECK it to write CD text. Make sure you files are named as you want them to display...

i.e... Rolling Stones - I Can't Get No Satisfaction
