My President from Taiwan have bought this PDA, he take to me for configuration, he using his sim card malaysia.

the telco is Maxis, you can find it at www.maxis.com.my, but when i setting up for GPRS, it cannot be run, it show error connection to cannot be connect.

may i know what is this problem, and i have take to our Maxis Center, they also cannot help me for this problem, but when i take out the sim card and put into Motorola 680 bought from taiwan, the GPRS can be run.

do the PDA need to upload any program or seting done in PDA, this is urgent for doing that.

You may try to find a O2 Xda IIi which is available in UK, or an i-mate PDA2 which is available worldwide.

Thank you all for your responses. My guess is if there is a Russian version there must be an English version. I'll find it. I've done a lot of research into the ODM DOPOD and I like what I see, so that's why my quest shall continue. But thank you for the suggestions arith.

But it appears that "i-mate PDA2" is the same as Dopod 699.
Or is there some significant difference between these two models?
