It shouldn't matter whether your Nero has the latest version, unless it's really old. So tell us which version of Nero you are using (check with Nero's Help | About, or Nero InfoTool | Software).

Apparently you have already upgraded to the latest InCD 4.0.1.0. Is it working for you? Since I've already found some minor bugs under XP SP1, I'm not sure I'll be testing it on my 98SE box; maybe I'll wait for the next version.

can't work with old drive
reading speed around 200k per sec

anyway, nero company explain will be out next week for the real version of incd 4 ...........
better don't try it yet

If you have found a problem with InCD 4.0.1.0, can you please make a bug report to techsupport@nero.com and feedback us here of your report progress? The FAQ of InCD 4 present in your InCD install directory details the needed information for a bug report.

Additionnally, InCD 4.0.1.0 *is* the 'real' InCD 4. Who exactly said it is not???

it's when i download it, it stated older drive might not work well
and will be updated with an older drives support in week time
that's why i mentioned as "not real" version for older drive
but somehow weeks passed, no new updates
and the words "will be coming out in week time" gone disappeared as well

The update is in preparation and should be available beginning of next month.

it seems like a lot of problem with No No word to me.....

If the question is intended for me, well of course many people had successfull experience with InCD 4. But usually people who post in forum come here because they had an issue. :-/

Btw, about the complain that no update is comming out, 2 of them have now been released: 4.0.1.7 last month, and 4.0.1.21 last week. As you might bet, we are of course still working on doing more updates for more stability and features.

don't bother about it
i guess the program doesn't like old drive with 8 megs RAM

upgraded my cdrw
now working fine
using 3.5.24incd now
