brsk -> How to put track titles on CD? (5/8/2003 10:34:53 PM)

2 problems:
When I record a vynil LP to hard disk it is in .wav extension. I want to record to Cd but it is converted to .cda extension. How do I get it onto CD as .wav for later clean up?
Secondly, the tracks are Track 01, Track 02 on the CD. Even though I have renamed them in the hard disk file , they still come out Track 01 etc. No album details at all even though I have filled in all the pop up windows.
Plextor CD RW; Win XP; Media player 9; Nero Burning.

Get and use NERO. You can get it here:

http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#download

I also suggest using a program that has a TAG editor, such as music match. you can get it here:

www.musicmatch.com

Edit the waves with MusicMatch and fill in the TAG info.

To answer your question regarding burning the disc in WAVE format:

Use Nero, and select make a "Data" disc, then you'll be able to drag and drop your tracks and burn the disc as you desire.

Thanks.
My mistake was burning as Audio CD instead of Data CD.

On the other point, will Nero put the Track and album details on the Data CD and will Media Player 9 read it? Or will I have to use Music Match from there on.

It will put them on the data cd if you EDIT THE TRACK TAGS prior to burning, they will be stored INSIDE the files.

Thank you. Will try that.
