Actually, I don't have ''Arial Greek'' as a font option in Nero...

I get the following:

Arial
Arial Black
Arial Narrow

but not Arial Greek. For each of these three options, I can change the script to Greek, but it doesn't help...

You mean you get ARIAL GREEK as a font option in Nero? (I am not talking about the SCRIPT GREEK option). If you do, how can I set up my system to do the same? So far, I did not think there was any problem with my Windows languages setup (in Control Panel), as I had added GREEK POLYTONIC as the alternative language.

I would really be glad if we find a solution to this, as I sometimes need to copy Greek filenames onto CDs.

Not sure if this option is something you want to consider, but you should be able to WinZip or WinRAR your data to retain your file names before putting them on a CD. Perhaps a self-extracting executable on the disc... Just a thought!

SithTracy, thanks for the suggestion, I have tried that already, but when the files are, for example, saved webpages, sometimes the zipped/rarred (is that a word?) files do not contain some of the website folders.

How does Emperor's suggestion above work for you? (I take it you have Nero installed) Do you get ARIAL GREEK in the Nero Fonts section?

No, I don't see Arial Greek in my fonts options. There is an e-mail address you might try for support in there though...

translations@nero.com

I'll try to find some time next week to actually test this for you. The flu bug has run through my house and all but me has been sick... I'm kinda being a Mr. Mom here.

I'm on the road for the next 2 weeks, so it may be some time before I can test this issue.

I'll try and get a system to test this on while I'm in Germany, or ask this to be tested for me.

I'll respond as soon as I can.

Regards,

Craig
