I just burned my first backup with my NEC ND-3520A burner today, and it won't play in my stand-alone DVD player. Says "no disc." Plays fine in the NEC and my Lite-On DVD-ROM. Checking with DVDinfo, the booktype on the disc is DVD+R.

I upgraded from my POS NU burner, and those dvds played fine (when I could burn without coastering) on the stand alone. I checked an old burn and the booktype is DVD-ROM.

Firmare is 1.04. Is the booktype the problem an if so, is there a way of changing it on this drive? I see in the review you can't, but is there firmware available that can?
