Hi. I'm using DVDInfoPro 3.49. I don't get the Write Strategy lines when I look at the DVD info. Does this only work on a blank disc? I get no information on a blank disc and I got this on one of my burnt ones. How do I get to view the Write Strategy for a disc?

Hi Barbara and welcome to our forum, what you mean exactly, write strategy, the writing speeds or something else?

Ok. Well here's what somebody else posted that shows what they got when running DVDInfoPro. You'll notice that there's a line for WRITE STRATEGY SPEED, whereas when I ran it that line is missing. It seems that they ran it on a blank disc, and I ran mine on a dvd I had already burned. Perhaps that accounts for the difference, but when I run DVDInfoPro on a blank disc I get no information.

With DVD-R media, DVDinfopro reports some additional information that the drive reports back, according to the inserted media
