Is it possible like asus 1604P to pioneer dvr 108? if so how can i do this?

thanks for your welcome Iggy,

philips DVDR1640P and benQ DW1620 are same drive , they use the same chipset (Nexperia PNX7860E chipset) like asus and pioneer (nec chipset) do. so if asus and pioneer can be crossflashed , I believe also that philips and benq can be crossflashed but I dont know how. so I need help.

Yes but with Asus and Pioneer they didn't change only the firmware, there was some work first to be done.

From curiosity, why do you want to do this?

I think BenQ gives more support . They have released 3-4 firmwares for DW1620. They try to improve both + and - support. Philips only released P2.2 firmware for DVDR1640 and they only improved support for dvdr+, the drive needs improvement on dvdr- also.
