The new and improved Writing Quality v2.0 guide is coming soon.

What's new?
The guide re-written in most parts, added new information, tests etc...

When will released?
We hope soon (maybe next week), we have to make several corrections before posting the final version. Stay tuned!

John,
If you can add some definitive results to media brands and dyes, that would help with a ton of posts as well. Mitsui and some industry experts claim that Phthalocyanine and Gold discs are the best, while many users report Taiyo Yuden and Cyanine are just fine, if not better.

Objective tests with WSES or UM Doctor Pro on a C1/C2 analysis with each media would be most beneficial to us all.

Just my 2 cents...
Robert

Hi,

Thanks for your input. Howeer testing media with software like WSES and UMDoctor is not a safe way to compare media dyes. We prefer to compare the various drives with same media. And with the new tests coming, users will see which recorder is safe for burning AudioCDs in high speeds...

And yet, so many here called this blasphemy when I said this a good deal of time ago...
