Hello!

Will CDRInfo review this drive? I´m looking for an new DVD-Rom and heard rumors that the new Toshiba-drives are manufactured from Samsung. I don´t like Samsung´s optical-drives, and I hope the review will let me see what the drive can do.

The new DVD-ROMs are fewer than the DVD recorders so probably this is the reason why.

Scour, at least we review DVD-ROMs, no-one else does

Of course we will review whatever new device comes out, if arrives at our labs

Good review of the 1912 and AOpen Pro

Damn, why can´t the Aopen and the Asus didn´t read DVD-RAM? This readers are better in almost all tests than the Toshiba and Samsung

The review will be updated soon. It was a specific problem with motherboard that prevented AOpen and Toshiba drives to work with CDSpeed and measure PI/PO...Also the 1648 AAP/Pro can read up to 16X +/-R media, when using DriveSpeed
