Am I crazy, or is my memory of seeing actual track titles pure fantasy?
When using Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player to view the list of tracks it now just shows me Track01, Track02 etc. I would have sworn that I've made CD's with the actual track names showing not just retrieved from a catalog database. Could someone straighten me out on this. I've burned way too many CD's trying to get the Titles to show up instead of Track Numbers. Is this possible? How? Thanks.

You will need a program that can read the TAG information in an MP3 file. Or you can name the files with the BAND NAME-TRACK NAME and windows will see that, but it will not see the TAG information.

is there a windows explorer ad-in utility which shows the audio cd title?
instead of releasing XP2 with more "enhancements", can't MS stick to cleaning up its mess? the second question is rhetorical.

There is not one that I know of for Windows Explorer.

Windows didn't invent MP3's or the MP3 Tagging system, this is will it doesn't support it with windows.

Are you thinking of CD-Text and a player that supports it?
