Hi all,i have been getting a raspberry/farting noise on my audio copies which doesnt seem to be related to surface generated extras,
acer 40x reader-matsh*ta cd-cw7502 (firm 417 - aspi 4.60) writer at 4x from image using either clone or cdwin ????.most annoying generating coasters.the noise is intermittant and short in duration over the audio and varies in volume.

Are you sure the source reader made a perfect rip?

Thanks for that,i'm not sure how i can check the rip/image,maybe do a same drive copy-using the burner might be worth a try.will keep you posted,thanks again

Also, you could try using EAC for the rip, they have a database of what the CRC for each track should be. Then you will know if there is a read problem on the disc compared to the CRC listing. Just A Thought!......
