HI,

I have the Samsung SD-612 DVD-Rom drive and a Lite On 32x burner, wonder if the Samsung good for reading for Clone CD? if not, which DVD-ROM is best for the job?

LiteOn LTD-163 is a nice choice for DVD and CD reading...We haven't tested the Samsung drive to answer your question. But if it works for you why change it?
