Yes, Clonecd is a very good program and will reproduce exact copies of all former Cdprotections; however, I've had difficulty making backup of copies of new games i.e., Max Payne, Operation Flashpoint. Ofcourse, it also depends on the burner and respectively the firmware version. Both these games have Safedisk2 protections. I've been able to download modified exe of each game and run them without the cd. If anyone has a new information relative to overcoming this protection, please post.

in addition to clonecd the program cd mate will also make perfect copies of protected cds with your new burner. a 30-day trial version is available from the download page at cdrtimes.net and it only costs $25 to register and get lifetime updates. it is also mastering software for compiling data and audio cds.

i have the same burner and i'm totally impressed with it. i haven't found the first thing negative about it. make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest firmware from www.liteonit.com.
