I have a Sony CRX160E CDR it works fine while normal copying of data and making cd under all softwares like Nero 5.?.?.?, winonCD3.8, Easy CD Creator 4.2d, platinum 5, and Clone Cd 3.3.

Problem comes when i try to copy a cd image to any cdr media, under all programs, the simulation works fine but while the actual writing starts it says CDR not ready and the drive quits and there is a write error and the media is empty and i can write normal data on the same media without any errors. i tried reinstalling my win98se but nothing works.

Initally when the drive was new it used to copy cd image files to cdr's but now nothing works as far as cd image copying is considered but normal writing are done till 12X speed without any errors
