All i want to do is burn all my mp3s onto a blank dvd but when i do it my standalone which supports mp3 will not play them it will play them when i burn to a blank cdr but why not a blank dvdr
any help
Have tried Nero Instant dvd and also the new record now max4 but to to avail

I just want to play with audio

You need to author Audio DVD format or just put mp3 in DVD media?

When you say "stand alone" are you meaning your stand alone DVD player that is MP3 compatible won't play the disc? This would be true, as a DVD holds too many files for the reader to read. It is set up to read mp3's from CDR. The purpose of burning MP3's to a DVD disc would basically be for backup.

i know that you can burn burn mp3 to dvd as my mate does it and they play fine on my panasonic dvd player. but i am afraid i dont know how. sorry.

I think we need to clear up a few things before I can try and assist you. 1) Are you using a dvd-r(rw) drive? 2) Are you using a cdrw drive trying to use dvd(r)(rw)(ram) media?
