Here's the scoop.

I bought a new Sony Vaio with dvd and cdrw. I successfully downloaded about 40 mp3's and easily made two cd's with them.

Then, I downloaded about 20 more mp3's, and now I'm stuck. When I make the cd, it only records the first 3 songs and then it finalizes it before I'm even halfway done!! I have tried with other cd's and the same problem.

So, the problem is: No matter what I am copying from/to, when I made a cd, it only records the first 3 songs and then the rest are inaccessible. This is, of course, not a good thing.

I have tried the following things:
1. Un-installing and Re-installing the cdrw driver.
2. Using SonicStage and Windows Media Player programs.
3. Re-booting computer to original installation settings.

Nothing is working, and now I've created at LEAST 15 lovely little coaster cd's that are USELESS and I'm quite frustrated.

Should I just return the computer and start over? Any other ideas?

Try using Nero to burn Mp3. Maybe that solves all problem
