I have a sony dvdrom (external slimline for laptops) that is identified by EAC to be a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-C2402. According to EAC's "User Reported Drive Features", it supports Accurate stream. True enough, when I let it auto-detect the features, accurate stream is detected. But when I used Nero's CDSpeed to test the drive, it reported that the drive failed the accurate stream test. Now im really confused. Should I trust EAC, or CDSpeed? :/ If the drive indeed does not support accurate stream, will the ripping quality be compromised even if i used secure mode in EAC, and specify that the drive does not support accurate stream? Please advise. Thanks.
