I what to buy a new cdrw and there are two model's that i have been looking at the
"cyber drive 32x12x48x" and the "plextor 24x10x40x" both of these drive seem to be very good.

My question is this, will they both copy protected software
I.E safedisk 1/2 laserlock 1/2 an so on

Something's that i would like to know....!

Is it that the cd-rom side of the drive can't read the protection?
Or is it the writer side of the drive cant copy the protection.

If it's the cd-rom side, then what is the best drive for reading protection cd's

And if it's the writer side, then what is the best drive for writing
Protection cd's

Only ASUS and LiteOn recorders can backup SD2 100%. With both Plextor 24x and CyberDrive 32x you would have to use a software patch to make CDs fully playable
