I'm trying to decide on what DVD-ROM to get, and the Toshiba looks good to me.
Any feedback on this drive?

I think I have the one you're talking about. I got it because I have a plextor 24/10 and CloneCD recommended it as a good combo for making good fast clones. I've used the Toshiba 16x for creating my .ccd files and such and then I burn it with the Plextor. So far I really like the drive.
