My CD ROM drive, which is (and always has) operating correctly, is fumbling reading this kind of CD:

---Datawrite 700mb / 80 minute 52x CD-R TITANIUM

In my other computer it is readable... both computer are about 4 years old and never had an issue with the cd room drives.

Vista OS 64 bit / laptops

You'd better copy your CD-R using your other computer and create a new backup of it. Maybe the CD-R is not in very good shape and your old CD-ROM is too picky to read it
