I'm trying to copy a dvd which is already a copy. However the sound frequently is out of sync with the pictures. Is there any way of correcting this?
All my hardware seems to be running ok.

Try copying it as an ISO image from ImgBurn and burning it.  ImgBurn is free and is the best DVD burning engine available.
