HI,
Have a CDRW161040X Drive.
Whenever i try to install a new Software by putting the Software cd in the Drive,
it tries to read the CD by opening the Windows Media Player....instead of starting to load the software...

I am not a Computer expert..Please let me know..

Maybe the first time you got the Autoplay window you chose to open WMP everytime.

Go to My Computer, and press the right mouse button over your drive and select the last option, Properties. There, go to Autoplay tab and set what you want the drive to do each time you insert a disc.
