i jus recently bought a ps2 and wanted to know how to back up dvd games.
Do i have to have a dvd burner? or is there a program to rip the dvd and then burn it like a regular cd?
Help would greatly be apprieated. and if you can burn without the dvd burner what dvdr or cdr is best.

Use for example Nero at www.ahead.de. You will also need a mod chip or some sort of add-on card together with a disc-swap trick.

Thanks for the link. But im still alil confused about DVD copying. Do i need a dvd writer or jus dvdrs?

You need a DVD recorder and DVD-R discs, together with a mod chip and Nero.

If you are looking for a dvd writer just to back up games or movies for the ps2 console you should search for a minus dvd writer because its more compatible with the internal ps2 dvd reader.
