I've got a strange challenge for any of you vhs-to-dvd Macrovision crackers. So I've converted most of my VHS library to DVD-R (via a Panasonic DMR E-20 DVD recorder). Typically, this works fine with my Macrovision stabilizer, however, I have some newer titles that make it through the previews, then as soon as it gets close to the feature, the DVD recorder stops recording...wierd. I've heard of some other forms of copy protection, but is this some garbage built into my dvd recorder, or do I just have a crappy video stabilizer.

Any advice welcome.
