Just curious why comparisons in the 1640 review where with a Sony known to be a poor performer & a Pioneer good if not up there with the best in terms of speed ie: Plextor 716 Nec 3530 (I know you haven't got a 3540 [shame]) or even BenQ own 1620
Surely fair comparisons should be on the same plane to have any true meaning
