Hi I have got some really bad cd's for my new nec 3520a, it's MIRROR, and I'm using Dee's firmware and it's not good for mirror.

Anyone know what firmware to use with mirror??

THANKS :)

If you have Nero Info Tool, DVDinfoPro or any other kind of this utilities, just insert the media and see what's its ID code, who's the manufacturer.

oh I see. Used nero infotool. It says IS001 001

Have looked with Nec Dump and it says ok for that type..hmmm...now I'm confused!!

Have runned a qualitytest on them with nero cd-dvdspeed, and it says 72%

Thanks for your help:)

IS001 001, never heard of them.

Better try with a different media brand.

I think I had it as IS01 001
Poor media, and the Mirror DVD-R (unspecified speed / turns out to be 4x) - is AN31 - another junk code.

It's 4x media, so if a speedhack is offerring faster, hold it down to 4x

At 2 for £1 in Poundland, (I got 2 of each to test) - I didn't go back for any more!
