Hi,

I have a Microadvantage 4x DVDRW drive (BTC 4DVDRW) with the most current
0151 firmware. Somehow, DVDInfoPro is not allowing me to use the set-default
book type function to make the DVD+R media written as DVD-ROM. The bit-setter
menu just doesn't display DVD-ROM in the DVD+-R field. I know this used to
work when I had the drive in another machine. I have tried using DVDInfo from
version 2.64 to the most recent and the bit-setter function doesn't work in any
of them.

I don't know what caused the incompatibility. I may have upgraded the drive's
firmware, but I am using Win2000 as the OS on both machines. I also have a
DVD-ROM drive in the current machine and don't know if this is causing some
obstruction.

Does anyone have an idea of what is wrong? I'm pretty sure I have been using
the same brand DVD+R media in the drive (Khypermedia: CMD MAG R01) both
when things used to work and now.

Thanks for all help.

Are you sure your drive supports Booktype?

Hrrrrrm, yah. As emperor said, you might want to check if the drive supports DVD+R --> DVD-ROM booktype setting.

Get back to us if it does, as we might need to add the commands!
