Hi all,

Some users are having problems installing 3.50. For the time being (we are working on a resolution as we speak) please uninstall the old version completely, then reinstall 3.50 clean. This *should* rememdy the errors you have been encountering. If it does not, please feel free to PM myself or Nic.

A potential additional remedy, would be to just ignore the errors, and continue through the install process. This seems to be helping some people!

We will release 3.5x ASAP with a fix.

Install "strangeness" - but installs and operates correctly
- occurs on both v3.50 and v3.51 - (asked by Zeb to test install)

OS: XP SP2 - slipstreamed install
MB: Intel 875p
CPU: P4 3.0G HT

1) Unistalled previous version.

2) Install screen appears normally, added SN.

3) Error messages appear, stating:
- Error: c:\temp
- Error: c:\Program Files\DVDInfoPro\Database
- Error: i:\DVDInfoPro

Ignored above errors and continued on.

4) Install directory selection panel appears:
- changed install dir to f:\DVDInfoPro 351 - (which is my normal habit)

5) Installed normally and works properly...

Suggestion:
- please add version number to filename!
- makes for easier tracking and troubleshooting

As bichi does, I still get the same three error popups before installation completes but the program does install and appears to work.

It is not right though, because I still only get an AOpen bitsetting dialog rather than the option to choose my NEC drive.

I did clean all traces of dvdinfopro from my system as requested before attempting the install.
