Hi!

I have bought a LaCie external burner and I would like to change the booktype from DVD+R to DVD-ROM. I figure that I should flash it with one of the un-official firmares... Question is, which one should I use when I have an OEM driver? The device manager says that it is a _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG USB Device I have and Binflash says that I have firmware 2.07. And a question about flashing: Is it safe to use the wingui when flashing? I read in alot of places that pure DOS is needed??
