Hi, I dont know if this is a beta issue or not... If I burn on a Sony DVD drive then compare with the original ISO, they show as identical. This works across 2 different drives. However if I do the compare on another brand drive (tried 3 now) it reaches 99% checked and then finds 100's of differences.

Is this something I should be worried about? Does the burning software add on a few extra k of data to the end when it burns an image? Ive checked the discs the best I can and they seem fine. Is this a known bug with the compare feature?

Welcome to CDRinfo's Forum!

Which software do you use and what exactly do you compare? Writing quality? What disc do you have?

Any software (alcohol, nero, ntl)

Im using the ISO compare feature, so Im assuming it compares the data from the disc with the original ISO

Any discs (piodata g05, bulkpaq MMC, ritek G04)

I will have to check this out. copy and paste the media info view from one of the discs and send it.
