Hmm..Forget it. Even both drives uses MediaTek chipsets you cannot use the 52x firmware to the 48x model. It seems that even the latest MTKFlash.exe cannot recognize the board type of ASUS 52x.

The firmware update finishes just fine, but after reboothing your drive will recognized as !./ or something like that
