Am trying to copy some audio cds that a neighbor has and the resulting quality is very poor. Her cds are reasonably good quality. They are copies of books on tape (Harry Potter) that I want for my kids. I have tried clonecd and nero with the same result. The cds to be copied have .cda files on them. I don't know much about cd formats or copying techniques. would appreciate any help.

I will not be able to assist you because what you have asked us to do is to help you pirate some cd's. This is against the law, and we do not condone the illegal copying of cd's on this forum. This forum is to assist with the legal backup of your data. Perhaps you could purchase the cd's in question and have good quality ones.
