Im burning an SVCD, I have the plugin for mpeg2svcd, but everytime I try burn one of my downloaded files it freezes while converting the file. I defragment my drives, I change the cache file, redownload files, nothing seems to work? does anyone have the answer to this?

yep i can help ya out. download virtual dub open divx and then resave under another name and use direct stream copy on both audio and video this works for me 95 percent of the time

virtual dub wont work....im tryin to burn downloaded movies, video clips etc. not divx movies. just regular avi, mpeg clips. Nero was working for a while, then it just started freezing on me, and I can barely get past 10% encoding the video....

http://212.88.77.140/ try this program then and see if it can do the job this is the only program i use to create svcds good luck and visit the help section tons of information there

Does this only occur with newly downloaded files?

What about your older video files that worked previously?
