I'm using Nero 5.5.3.5 with a Plex 24/10/40A under Windows XP. I have converted a number of MP3 to wave format using Nero's editing program. After I burn these onto a CD there a number of scratches or clicks can be heard on the CD. I've tried using different media, tried different recording speeds but the imperfections still persist although not in the same areas. Funnily enough the clicks are not in either the original MP3's or the wav files so must be being introduced during the recording phase.

Any suggestions?
