I have a Liteon dvd burner 20a3s and an HP Liteon cdrw burner. both have problem with CDRW media. will not read them after a burn and will not continue multisession.
after burning disc reads "empty" and "erase rewriteable" works ok.

problem seems to have resolved. possible operator error.

nope.. the issue seems to be that the dh20a3s? (i should probably revert to calling this SONY per its label.) after erasing the cdrw disc can no longer SEE it.
can no longer read or write to it including erase.
the Sony can only use NEW media or media it recorded from new or recorded by another another drive.
the case of the dissapearing erasure. the erase seems to be going a bit too far... they should rename the menu option "dissappear rewriteable media"

I now noticed Verbatim has their blurays in discount about same price than some cheap brand discs, only question mark for me is that Verbatim discs are LTH type and others are regular discs.
