I recently upgraded to XP Home Edition froom Win2000. Everything works fine but, my CD-RW. I'm using Nero 5.5 and when I burn it freezes up. No response from drive, it shows drive idle. It worked fine before the upgrade. Do I need to upgrade the drives firmware? If so, where do I get the firmware, and how do I install the drives firmwire? I'm using Hitachi model HL-DT-ST CD RW GCE 8320B

I would first suggest upgrading to Nero 6.6.0.13, also you will need to disable IMAPI burning in windows services, as well as install the stable ASPI for WinXP, which is 4.6, which you can download here:
