I have a problem with my LG GCE-8520B CD-RW drive.
I run the firmware update 1.04, while the update is running, we had a power down (Power Black-out), so, my computer was turned off. When I turned on my computer (Power is back), my BIOS cannot detect my CD-RW, I cannot even open the drive's door. Looks like there's no power to the CD-RW, not a single LED light. Is there anybody have the same problem as me? Do I need another CD-RW drive? Is there a software that can revive my CD-RW? I need help...

your cd-rw drive is dead.
you must read more carefully the manual about updating (changing) firmware.Any power downs aborting flashing.
