I replaced the Nero vision express 21221 with the NVE 30118 version.
Everything works fine to create a DVD, but when I save the DVD files, it takes the double of time. Is this normal, or is there some setting to be changed?
(In both cases I used the default settings)

That has been reported with NVE 3. I'm wondering if the 2-pass VBR encoding was on by default in NVE 2.

BTW, you did update to Nero 6.6 right? They say that none of the Nero 6.3 packages are compatible with the ones used for Nero 6.6.

Maybe the 2 passes have been enabled, tried the latest update?

In fact, I compared both versions, before and after upgrading to 6.6+NVE3.
The 2-pass VBR was selected in both versions.
Setting the 6.6 to 1-pass makes me win some 20 minutes on a same project, but this is still over 1 hour more than with the previous 6.3
I guess I have not much choice but to more patient. I need the new NVE3 menu functions and would like to keep the best possible quality.
