What is the latest (stable) inofficial modified ND-3500-firmware? And what are the features?

Im using the extreme 2.28 firmware and dvd decrypter now says my x8 discs will burn at x12. all very well i thought but now it never goes over x6.4.
I tried the standard with the same results.
Any ideas.
Im using datawrite classic x8 dvd-r(the bright yellow ones) and they used to burn at x8.

Ive just put liggys v2.18 SE back on and all is fine again, x8 disc showing as x8 max burn speed and achieving this.
